"Arabesque Gold Lace" - new wedding range in store.

Recently on a wikipedia wander, (you know, when you start from one article and end up clicking through loads of various items and end up on something completely unrelated to what you were originally reading about) I stumbled upon the page for arabesque art and fell for the style. I had of course seen it before, but for some reason something just clicked in me at that point and I realised I just had to try my hand at this style that consists of "rhythmic linear patterns of scrolling and interlacing foliage, tendrils."

I started making the original design in a simple black and white colour palette, but soon branched out into metallic gold, silver and several other palettes (that will be available in store soon).

What resulted was an intricate patterned design that led me to feel that it would make the perfect wedding range for people planning an oriental, middle eastern, Islamic or just plain decorative wedding. The range consists of not only invitations, engagement and 'save the date' announcements, but also of a wide range of gifts, labels, stickers and stationery products to help co-ordinate your wedding theme perfectly. The design was also created to work with your choice of background colour, meaning that you can match it to your own tastes or themes.
