Organizing a wedding in San Diego can be quite a challenge for one reason – it’s extremely difficult to choose between so many stunning venues. With such a good climate, every day seems to be perfect for a wedding, so you won’t have much problem there. Lovely weather with so much sun and amazing light plus a breathtaking venue sound like a recipe for an unforgettable wedding immortalized in incredible photos.

Depending on your preferences, you can choose a beach wedding like this http://sandiegoartweddingphotography.com/plan-beach-wedding-photographer-mission-beach/, a yacht wedding, or any of the many other wedding venues, but here are the ones which will grant you the most magnificent views and surreal photos.

San Diego Zoo

Let’s start with this one, in my opinion, the most extraordinary venue. San Diego Zoo offers you a choice between two parts – the Zoo itself and the Safari Park. Within these two locations, they offer thirteen outdoor and indoor venues. Whether you’re planning abig event or a small-scale family celebration, you’ll definitely find something for you.

The locations offer stunning treetops views, lush canyons, waterfalls, lagoon overlook and what not, all you need to do is visit their site and choose the right spot for you. Of course, make sure you “add” the wild visitors to your guest list, as some of the zoo residents might choose to pop up at your party and throw an awesome photo-bomb or two. The Zoo offers two wedding packages which are quite affordable and include zoo passes and parking lots for all the guests, and they differ in the choice of catering and beverages.

Tom Ham’s Lighthouse

An iconic San Diego location set at the top of the Harbor Island boastsastonishing views of San Diego skyline, the bay, and Coronado Islands. Now imagine what a skilled wedding photographer can do with this San Diego skyline framed in the contemporary sculpted archway as the backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Jaw-dropping, I know.

The Lighthouse offers two reception rooms, one for bigger crowds, up to 230 people and the other one for more intimate celebrations, for up to 90 people. Both venues have a dance floor and a patio, while the bigger one has a built-inbar as well. Whichever one you choose, you’ll have an exhilarating setting for your wedding.

The Prado at Balboa Park

Located at one of the world’s best urban parks, the Balboa Park, the Prado offers lush surroundings view from its terrace and balconies. It must be really amazing to have your wedding at this National Historical Landmarkin the spirit of the Old Spanish World. The Prado again offers two venues, one for up to 500 guests, and the other one for a close circle of eighty people. You can also choose to have your ceremony in Casa Del Rey Moro Gardens and the exclusive reception package they offer.

Catamaran Resort and Spa

If you’ve always dreamt of a tropical beach wedding, this is the place for you. Catamaran Resort and Spa is one of the most popular wedding venues in San Diego. It’s set in the Mission Bay and it offers four ceremony locations, each having its own advantages. The smallest one, an intimate tropical gazebo can host up to 70 guests; the beach south lawn boasts stunning San Diego skyline and can accommodate up to 120 people; then there is the on-the-beach site accommodating up to 200 visitors; and finally the biggest one, the beach north lawn which can host up to 350 guests. Whichever one you choose, it’s certain you’ll have a dream view wedding.

Flagship Yacht

Nothing is more typical of San Diego than a yacht wedding. You can choose between so many options, from having the Captain officiate the wedding, catering for any budget, a DJ, champagne toast, and much more.

Then there are wedding packages that include a private yacht and the crew, an excellent coastal cuisine and many other service, entertainment, and decoration options. All this flexibility will guarantee you a unique wedding and also provide with a unique set of backdrop views at your memorable wedding, from the open oceanto the city skyline. A wedding on the water is definitely a magnificent experience.

Whichever option you go for, don’t forget to hire a skilled and experienced photographer to immortalize the most important day of your lives.
