Brides, just as you have been planning your Special Day since forever, well, so have the grooms. Well not everyday of their lives. But yes, it is true, they also have imagined looking extra special on this auspicious event as well which is why you should let them wholly decide what they wish to wear! Picking out a wedding dress for yourself is in itself a BIG task, so why not leave it to the gents to decide what they’ll be wearing?
Khakis work best if you are looking for a casual outdoor wedding reception. They are comfortable, gives a smart finish and when you pair them up with a vest, it gives a chic finish to your attire! Dark colored khakis will blend well with an outdoor reception, however, you can always opt for lighter tones- whichever you prefer- just make sure the colors are not light enough that blends with the backdrop. It might cause problems when capturing photographs outdoors!
Hats look cool. Really they do. For that vintage 60′s look, I advise grooms try the classic ascot cap or Fedora. It gives a very modern/vintage look and you can pair it with almost any attire. Bowler/Derby is also seen as a preferred hat by most grooms and groomsmen giving them a funky look, apt for a casual wedding gathering!
Bright colored pants are choice the more funky and fun-loving groom. It really takes up an effort to dress up this bold so I advise grooms to do so if you are planning a day affair. Spring/Summer weddings are a perfect time to don up with bright neon pants. However, keep it mind it doesn’t clash with the brides dress. It would do if you pick a color that bride has chosen to accent her attire so both of your dresses complement each other!
It’s the newest trend taking the groom’s wear industry by storm. Sneakers. Groom and his groomsmen groove up their attire by picking out the funkiest sneakers and match them with socks and tie. There’s hardly an effort one has to make effort in such an attire which is why it suits those grooms who don’t want to go for a formal look.
