The 71st Miss World pageant has finally begun with the opening ceremony held at The Ashoka Hotel in Delhi. The prestigious event showcased 115 contestants from around the globe, each proudly displaying their unique cultural identity through their national costumes. Among them, Sini Shetty represents India, and her choice of attire stole the spotlight, captivating the audience with its sheer opulence and traditional allure. Draped in a resplendent red Banarasi silk saree, she exuded grace and sophistication, making a profound statement about India’s rich heritage and timeless fashion.
Designed by renowned designer Jayanti Reddy, the red Banarasi silk saree was adorned with intricate hand embroidery and featured a contrasting purple embroidered blouse. The blouse boasted an exquisite cut-out design at the back, adorned with delicate string detailing. Her overall ensemble exuded a sense of understated glamour and classic charm. Sini’s choice of attire not only showcased her impeccable taste but also highlighted the craftsmanship and artistry inherent in traditional Indian textiles.
In terms of accessories, her ensemble was complemented by earrings and bangles from the jewellery brand Curio Cottage. Meanwhile, Makeup Artist Jyoti Karia enhanced her natural beauty with a subtle makeup look, featuring brown eyeshadow, black eyeliner, kajal, contoured cheeks, highlighter, perfectly groomed brows, and nude lipstick, while her hairstylist opted for an effortlessly chic open hairdo.
