Surely, these are some smart tips for saving money on wedding invitations. But I feel that apart from searching (and then selecting) your wedding card from a local shop, you can also go the online way. I have seen so many people around me who not only purchase clothing, shoes and other such stuff online but now order and buy wedding cards also online.

There is one more option that people can go for which is making your own wedding cards. I came across this post: http://www.123weddingcards.com/blog/is-it-possible-to-save-money-by... which has also given some great tips (just like yours) on saving money.
