A lot of brides to be that I encounter want to DIY (do it yourself) some portion of their wedding invitations. Whether its cutting out envelope liners, properly inserting the liners into the envelope, addressing, stuffing the envelopes or even designing the invitation themselves, today’s brides have become a central part of the wedding invitation process.

However, I also know the stress and anxiety that can come with attempting to DIY 100+ invitations alone. So I wanted to give you 5 ideas about how to plan, organize and carry out a DIY party that not only makes your life easier, but can be a whole lot of fun too!

Choose Only Your Closest Friends

Pick a group of people that will work well together and get along. Unless you know they will mesh well with the group, friends of friends or ‘obligated’ invites should be avoided. You do not need 15 people, smaller groups (4-7) work the best.
