Your honeymoon is a time when you can enjoy learning more about your new spouse. It's a time to relax after all of the wedding planning and celebrating with family and friends. Some newlyweds spend quite a bit of money on the honeymoon, but that's not what the trip should be about. There are a few stunning honeymoon destinations that you can enjoy that won't break the bank.
From the stunning views to the landscapes that provide a peaceful setting, Big Sur, California has a little bit of everything that you would want on your honeymoon. You can go swimming in the Pacific Ocean or hike along some of the trails. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a popular destination in the area that features beautiful rock formations and waterfalls. There's also the sandy beaches and skiing if you take your honeymoon trip in the winter.
This is a tourist destination like none other in South Carolina. The golden sand of the beach stretches for miles with the sun shining on the ocean in the morning and the beautiful sunsets in the evening. You'll find a little bit of everything to do whether it's visiting an amusement park, taking a helicopter ride over the beach or exploring one of the many souvenir shops.
You might think that Hawaii would be an expensive destination, but if you plan ahead and spend a good bit of time on the beach, it's a trip that is affordable. If you shop around and plan ahead, you can usually find fairly affordable flights that will help keep prices low when traveling. There is also public transportation so that you don't have to rent a car. The beautiful blue water and the sunshine highlighting the flowers is enough to offer a romantic destination without all of the extra attractions.
Instead of picking a specific destination, you could pick a theme and travel all over the world with it. For instance, if you really enjoy Disney you could have a Disney themed honeymoon and travel to various destinations in North America, Central & South America, and Europe. If you do decided to go with a themed vacation, use a travel planning service, like the professionals at Mickey Travels, to help you plan your perfect vacation.
You'll discover that the most important thing about your honeymoon is the time you spend together. A few nights in a mountain cabin or relaxing on a beach are enough for a relaxing time so that you can concentrate on building the relationship. Plan ahead, and travel at times when tourism is low as you'll save more money on attractions.
