4 Easy And Effective Pre-Wedding Fitness Tips

When you’ve got a full-time job, busy social life and are planning a wedding, it often means that finding the time to not only regularly work out, but enough to see results, can almost feel like an impossible task. We all want to look and feel amazing on our wedding day, but finding the time to dedicate to exercise and our fitness is often easier said than done. So, here are 4 easy and effective pre-wedding fitness tips that you can fit in around your busy life and start seeing results in time for the big day!

Eat Less, Move More

This is the basic principle when it comes to losing weight and toning up. It might sound simple, but putting it fully into effect is actually more difficult than you might think. Sometimes, even just the small changes you make can lead to results without having to follow a drastic diet or extreme workout regime. Take a look at your portion size and be true to yourself. If you serve yourself the same portion size as your husband or wife to be and struggle to eat it all, then try removing a little bit each evening until you find the perfect portion size for you.

Aim To Feel Fit

When it comes to fitness and workouts, an effective programme isn’t just about losing weight. It’s about also feeling confident and strong as well! This is often the most rewarding part of the process and aiming to feel healthy and strong is something we all want to feel. Try not to focus on the weight aspect and instead on how amazing you feel - you’ll see better results.

Use Every Opportunity You Have

If you don’t have an hour to go to the gym, then that is fine. Many of us don’t have masses of spare time and when we do, we often have other things to do than head to the gym. Exercise and the benefits which come from it are cumulative, so doing a bit here and there at home or when you’re out and about can be just as effective as heading to the gym for an hour.

Doing exercise or activities which increase your heart rate and make you break a sweat, such as fast walking on your commute to work, cycling at the weekend or even just taking your dog on a hilly walk will all have the same benefits as going to the gym for a few hours a week. Pull-on your fitness clothing and get moving here and there and you’ll soon spot a difference!

Get Into A Routine

Even if it is for a short time, try to get yourself into some sort of routine so that you can fit in some time for workouts or brief exercise every now and then. Set a time in your head that you stick to a few times a week, otherwise you won’t do it. After a few weeks, you might even find yourself looking forward to those times each week!
