An engagement ring encompasses so many different meanings; it is a symbol of love and promise.  With that being said, our biggest piece of advice is that it should stand the test of time while portraying a person’s style or personality. Here are some styles and tips about engagement ring design.

Tip 2: Classic Doesn’t Mean Boring
Keeping it classic doesn’t mean staying safe and uninspired. One can take any classic style and add a more current look to it.  For example, adding a diamond halo to your center stone enhances and adds sparkle and size to your finger. A diamond halo is a smaller ring of diamonds surrounding the center stone.  It is presently a very popular choice with couples. Many people think it is a trend but it has been around for decades.

A simple setting with two smaller side stones, or even a double halo still has a classic and elegant look but at the same time is exclusive to each person.   Many brides also prefer no halo and just a simple diamond band holding their center stone.

Tip 3: Antique Styles Are Anything But Old!
