I absolutely love Christmas-it's my favorite time of the year. In my family, we get together to wrap our holiday gifts and make handmade bows and tags to decorate our packages. I no longer live near my daughters, but the tradition continues with them. What's your favorite way to package gifts?

My oldest daughter's wedding day was this past week, and what a wonderful day it was. Christine and Yome had been dating for 5 years, and I was simply thrilled that they tied the knot.
The wedding ceremony and reception were both beautiful as Christine has a wonderful sense of style, and I had the distinct honor of designing all of their wedding flowers.

I love unique handmade gift wrapping techniques, and they're perfect for all your bridal party, groom's dinner, reception favor, bachelor and bachelorette party, and baby shower gift giving needs.
~~~1) Here I used a photo box to place the gift in and added coordinating satin ribbon and a pair of my Baby Sock Roses to finish off the embellishments. The recipient loved it!…
Well folks, the Benefit For Breast Cancer at Murphy's Law in Cleveland, Ohio was a smashing success! $9500.00 was raised with every penny going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation because absolutely everything, including the food, prizes, and raffle tickets, was donated.
So many thanks to the owner, staff, patrons, and friends of Murphy's Law for your generous time and talents. As for me, I did some online marketing for the event, and helped to keep the food replenished during the…
Feeling the Love...Of Fundraising
I love fundraising and helping others. I was taught by both my maternal grandparents and my step-dad that it is much better to give than to receive, and I completely agree. There is no better feeling in the world to me than giving to others-it's the heart and soul of me-my very being.
Donating to the Susan G. Komen Foundation is a great wedding favor idea for your guests. You may provide small envelopes at each place setting…
Saying thank you and feeling appreciative of receiving something means alot to me. My grandma was an amazing woman, and she instilled this wonderful value in me right from the start. It's not just about saying thank you-she wanted me to mean it. Thank you, grandma, for raising me to appreciate what people do for me and for appreciating the little things in life-I love you.
Showing your wedding guests how much you appreciate them sharing your special day with you by…
Congratulations to all the newly engaged couples, and Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!
Here are a few interesting facts about this beloved Irish holiday:
**St. patrick is the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland who lived during the 5th century.
**He was born in Roman Britain and brought to Ireland at 16 as a slave.
Happy Valentine's Day From K and K Floral and Design!
I love swirled designs, whether it be on fabric, walls, gift wrap, artwork, and much more. There are many meanings and ways spirals symbolize positive attributes, reaching across almost all cultures and ethnicity's, including but not exclusive to Ireland, Australia, Native Americans, and many more. It remains nonsectarian, belonging to all of us. The spiral can mean holistic growth, awareness of self within the whole, connectivity,…
Happy Valentine's Day!
I love everything about Valentine's Day...the gifts-especially wrapping them, a romantic dinner, making valentine's for my loved ones...sharing the love...oh, and musn't forget the chocolate!
The history of Valentine's Day blanketed in mystery, but we know that it involves a priest named Valentine, who reportedly was put to death by the Roman emperor, Claudius II, for…
