Every bride wants her invitations to be a unique expression of her special day. This can be accomplished through color schemes, artwork and enclosures - but it can also be expressed through verse. Whether your wedding is classic or whimsical, casual or formal, there is a verse out there especially for you. The following are some of my favorites. Some of them are tried and true, and others are less well known. I hope these will inspire you when you are working with your invitation vendor! If you…

I remarried this past August and during my own wedding planning process one thing that I found incredibly wonderful was posting our information on a wedding website. This was such an amazing way to not only share information with guests about the wedding itself, but you can post your "story" and add pictures to the photo galleries! This was wonderful for our friends or families who live in other states to find out more about you as a couple and your life together. This really gave our guests…

Caroline and Andrew got married at the
Kindred Community Church, you know, the one with the big cross on the hill off the 91 that's been there forever? Yes, that one. The location was beautiful and everything was green (it was spared by the fires last year. There were a few speed bumps in the wedding, like the florist not showing up! But her amazing brides maids manages to rangle up some flowers to make it beautiful…

As you all plan for the most personal day of your lives, your wedding, I ask you if you have registered your honeymoon? Do you know what this is? It works just like any department store registry but it is for your honeymoon. Check the registry out at http://www.ohwhatadealtravel.com Please click on the extras tab and on the right side you will see the Honeymoon Registry. It is wonderful and many couples I know are using it. Please let me know what you think of it.

There are several reasons to have a program at your wedding:
- If your wedding party is large and your guests are unfamiliar with the bridal party.
- If you have a long list of “Thank Yous” that you want to give proper credit to.
- If your wedding is being conducted in a religious tradition that some of your guests are unfamiliar with, it may be helpful to include a program with some details outlining the specifics so that they are able to follow along without feeling…

Save up to $100 per set of 6 by renting your pew decor.
Why buy pew bows for $50, that are simple, basic and won't have any other purpose after your big day? There is an alternative. You can rent them. customize them to really make a statement, and you won't have to lift a pretty fingernail after your ceremony is done to remove them and / or figure out what to do with them?
We're currently putting some bows together for a bride who is being married on June 27th. The rental…

One of the most important things to remember when designing your letterpress wedding invitations, is the importance of picking a font that captures the theme of your event. Fonts come in all shapes, sizes and colors, so it is important the fonts on your invitation reflect the vision you have for your wedding.
Formal - Many brides dream of having a traditional wedding with all the timeless customs and formalities. Integrating that classic 18th century feeling into your…

Shooting at a venue like the fabulous
Pleasantdale Chateau a photographer has the full right to anticipate a great day. Add a fantastic, relaxed, fun and gorgeous looking couple like Margaux and Jim to te mix and you simply can't go wrong! There was ofcourse a bit of a hold up (because nothing ever goes completely as planned with wedding days - that's simply the way it is. The limo transporting our bride got stuck in the worst…

Yes, you read that right! This is a simple trick that can help drive more traffic from an online community (i.e. BridalTweet, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to your own personal website. The trick is to not mention your website in the body of your Blog posts. Instead, provide extremely valuable information in the body of your Blogs and be sure to share your expertise with the community. After all, that is what the community is looking for - helpful and unique content. As a result, a greater number of…

Today’s brides and grooms are very savvy and typically look for an elevated level of customization and personalization. Much like “brand building”, they look for every opportunity to incorporate monograms, logos and motifs into their wedding. Many of my couples have at least some experience with graphic design and they astound me with their creativity and resourcefulness! Other times, they call upon our expertise to help them create a cohesive look.…

We have made it through our first event of the year- it was abosolutely fabulous!
Beautiful Bride, Loving Groom and lots of energy- it was just wonderful.
We did learn a couple vendor lessons on this one we tried out a few new companies, some were great and one or two fell a little short. Lessons learned are always benificial.
We could not have pulled it off had we not had a full crew working on this event, thanks to you all who had a part to play in this one! A…
