Have you ever wondered what letterpress printers do? How the printing process actually happens and how is it possible that a design on a computer ends up in your mailbox? As a customer you can be part of the design process, but once that is done the next thing you know your invitation is printed and ready to be delivered. This short video (a little over 2 minutes) details the entire letterpress wedding invitation printing process continued at…

We traveled to NYC for a totally
rad trash the dress session with Krista and Joe. Even though it was raining we had an amazing time and shot for 8 hours straight. Krista walked the city non-stop (and at my pace) with these cowboy boots. She was incredible.
We started in Coney Island, headed to Soho after that, then China Town, Time Square, Grand Central and every place in between.
If you want to see more images…

We hope these tips will help the bride ordering favors a smooth and stress free process.
•Always double check your order when selecting personalized favors.
•Make sure your order enough favors - it is better to over order than to place an order for more pieces. You will not have to pay shipping twice and the dye lots may differ. You will also save on any rush charges for last minute guests.
•Rule of thumb is one favor per single person and one favor per couple.
•When…

Continuing on the quest for great places to host your rehearsal dinner, our next stop is Manhattan Beach. If you are anything like me you will quickly be in a love hate relationship with Manhattan Beach. It is crowded, parking is impossible, but the beach is amazing. There are so many places to choose from in Manhattan Beach, but my favorite will always be Beaches. Beaches has an obstructed ocean view, generous, tasty portions and pre-set menus for large parties. They are ready to receive your…

I don't mean to get too personal but what are you wearing under your dress?
I've never really understood the point of forking out hundreds on shoes for a wedding if they are hidden under a big princess or long flowing dress.
Nor is it a good idea to have heels if you have the Kidman / Cruise thing going on.
The solution - flip flops!…

Brides getting married in Los Angeles have overwhelming possibilities on where to have the event. The good news is the Southern California Bride knows what she wants. Los Angeles also offers you twelve months a year of reasonably great weather. On a day where fashion plays a big part, Los Angeles brides again have it all. Anyway, I am beginning to sound like a travel guide. I am an event planner and a wedding is an event!
Today, I am starting a venue review blog series. My first stop…

Hello All,
What a beautiful time of year... late summer, early fall. Perfect weather, not too hot or too cold. We at the Holiday Inn love to support our local community and want to see it thrive even in this rough economy. By keeping weddings coming to Neenah it not only benefits us but the entire city. For example, when people book here it benefits all of the bars and restaurants and shops downtown as well as the local parks (rented for ceremonies, etc.). People rent boats, limos,…

Home Backyard Weddings
When predicting 2010 Wedding Trends, it seems almost too obvious to talk about the economy's impact.
Money is certainly not the only influence on style, fashion, or tradition. Couples are getting more creative and feel more freedom to make unique choices, including back yard weddings.
Back yard weddings allows you to have a more intimate affair and can add your own personal touch, in a…

If I have said it before, I will say it again, having a videographer at your wedding is so important if you want to capture the memories that you are making. You have taken months to plan the perfect day - don't you want to capture everything you can?
I love Lance Harding's work. He is a true professional, fun to work with, and a dedicated romantic. Here is one of his videos - they make me cry every time.
