Right after we were engaged, I immediately started subscribing/purchasing every bridal magazine in sight. I was so motivated, I probably could’ve had a wedding planned in about 2 weeks! But as that didn’t happen, I still had about 20 months to go until the big day. I am relatively indecisive in everyday life, so of course my mind changed about 200 times about which colors to go with for the wedding.
I started out loving blush pink and champagne. I wanted champagne satin bridesmaid…

The weather today is certainly enough to get anyone thinking about fall. But with this change of season comes many beautiful flowers. You can expect to see sunflowers, mums and zinnias in abundance. With oranges, reds and yellows setting the mood. Fall flowers and colors tend to portray a very intimate, romantic style.
Imagine your grand entrance into a room filled with candle light, your guests are seated at tables decorated with stunning flower arrangements in various types of…

wedding will last one day. Less than 24 hours. The typical wedding lasts less than 6 hours actually when you figure in driving time, moving from one venue to another, etc. So how then, do you get the most of out your wedding? How do you jam-pack a year's worth of planning into 330 minutes?
Planning, planning and more planning. Paying attention to the details that make up the day. Hiring professionals that understand your event and want to give you their all. Trusting in your…

Sometimes it takes a bride to know what a bride is going through.. friends and family just don't get it because they either are "full up" of wedding stuff or it's been too long since their own wedding to remember the trauma and drama of a wedding day.
And that is where the internet is heaven sent.
Bridal forums and chat boards give you a chance to vent (anonymously if need be) or…

This is something that I absolutely wish I knew about when I was getting married last year. Have you ever considered having an illustration drawn of you and your future hubby? A custom wedding illustration adds a personal touch to save the date cards, invitations, cocktail napkins, drink coasters, cake toppers, luggage tags - you name it! One illustrator in particular,

Music adds such a special touch to your special day. I recommend having a Harpist play for your Wedding Ceremony. All of your traditional Wedding songs can be played on the Harp, such as Trumpet Voluntary, Canon in D, The Wedding March, etc., and this makes a wonderful impression on your Wedding day. All of your guests will remember this experience, and will add that etherial touch to your Wedding.

The Bridesmaids’ Luncheon is getting very popular and sure to be big in 2010. This gives the bride an opportunity to thank and recognize the “exceptional” women in her wedding party.
It is also a suitable time to give “thank you”
gifts and is also a perfect opportunity for all the girls to get to know one another. The luncheon is typically held…

For as long as I can remember, watching new colors of ink being mixed from other inks always fascinated me. It reminds me of finger painting in kindergarten, which I was quite good at by the way.
For those of you who have never seen the process of hand mixing several primary ink colors together into a new, lively pantone custom color, wait until you see this: http://invitationsbyajalon.com/blog/mixing-applying-ink-letterpress-br-video-series-instructions/

The Electric Harp is a Harpist's dream! Have you ever gone to a Wedding with a Harpist, and not heard a note? The Electric Harp is the answer to your Fairly Tale Wedding. You can hear each individual note, loud and clear, and hooks into a sound system. You will even be able to hear the music before you walk down the aisle, from The Bride's Room!
It's a great touch to your special day. I perform with an Electric Harp all over the Southeast, and it is quite unique.
