With today’s economy, the majority of brides are searching for ways to save money and cut down on their wedding costs. Although this is not always an easy task, there are ways to create a beautiful reception at the fraction of the cost. A popular reception trend is to have an elegant reception luncheon instead of an extravagant reception dinner.
There are added benefits to hosting your reception early in the afternoon instead of in the evening. The first, and probably the greatest…

According to www.wedsafe.com , wedding insurance is defined as “A specialty insurance policy designed to indemnify the bride and groom. It offers protection for the wedding couple for damage to the facility caused by a guest or vendor, bodily injury to guests they are found liable for, and alcohol-related accidents they are found liable for”. Wedding insurance then breaks…

Today for brides, I wanted to talk about choosing a wedding photographer and some basic tips for you when you are searching. First and Foremost, think about you, your personality and the style you want for your wedding and be honest with yourself. A good way to gage your style is to look around your room/house/apartment. How have you decorated? Are you modern, French-inspired, shabby chic, traditional, romantic, country, etc? This will give you a good basis to start. I say this because…

This album features wedding invitations that have exotic typefaces, cut outs, folds, and bows. Things are not good, not good at all. Weight was up agian this week to 129. Then party Friday, Saturday and Sunday for father's day. Too much good food to pass up. Today I feel horrible. My stomach feels horrible and I don't feel like working out. Mondays are always bad for working out due to extra calories in food and drinks. I feel sluggish and just don't want to do anything but lay around. I'm having a problem with my hips and knees cuz of the extra weight. I know it's only 10…

I spotted this project on Kitschy-Koo (isn't that cute!). The project was originally a valentine project but I can see doing more with it. Like getting some floral foam and sticking the lollipop sticks into the foam making it a great centerpiece. Or maybe you want it to be more whimsical, just arrange them in a glass fish bowl with some…

Ordering your wedding invitations online is very convenient and a huge time-saver but you still may want to physically see certain designs or papers. That’s where ordering wedding invitation samples is highly recommended.
Keep in mind that any sample wedding invitation you order will most likely be blank but will still provide a first-hand look…

I frequently get asked by potential wedding clients, “Do I get a cd/dvd of the images from the wedding?” The answer of course is yes. Unfortunately it saddens me to think that more often than not, once the final cd is delivered to the customer, that it will have a short-lived run to the Big Box store for a few prints for the family and that will be about it. The media will sit in the office desk or dresser drawer for the most part unused, or the pictures will be on the customer’s hard drive…

On your wedding day your makeup makes all the difference on how your whole look comes together and your photo. Smashbox makes an amazing photo finish primer that will set your makeup for more than 6 hours. Its important to make sure you're using the right primer cause some primers have shimmers which isn't good for photographs, some primers don't last you but for a couple of hours and some primers clump. Photo finish primers…

Now, I need to find my gown. I keep saying that I have plenty of time. But that ole clock is ticking away. This week for sure; I will find a gown.
