A little known secret that every bride-to-be MUST know!

Yesterday I witnessed a bride to be in a well-known department store in the shoe section. Allow me to explain the design of this particular store as it plays a major role in this story. “Nordy” (winking) divides the shoe department in three classes/sections.  There is one section that carries Nordy generic brands and their price point is much lower than the other two sections and sometimes the quality isn’t superior.  The middle section typically carries a higher price point and the…

2012 Year In Review

Since January 1st of this year I have debated on if I should do one of those reviews where you show of your pictures for the year. At first I was hesitant, but the more I thought about it, any photographer should be proud of their work and be willing to showcase it. More importantly, they should take this an a opportunity to say a special thank you. To all of the people that made all of these photo sessions possible, this is my salute to you.

2012 was a defining year for Shawn Stom…

The Island Wedding You Imagined.

The sun is setting over a gentle sea. An offshore breeze freshens the twilight hours. A beautiful bride (you), wearing a crown of flowers and a flowing white veil (possibly embellished with tiny shells), walks (barefoot) through the soft white sand toward her handsome groom, who is waiting for her under a jasmine-covered arbor (with an orchid in his lapel). And all around are…
