Wedding Song Writer's Weight Journey And Celiac Disease

After 35 years of marriage you would think I would have my weight and diet problems under control, not.

My weight has gone up, down and up again. I'm now at 124 pounds. The gluten free foods are so much higher in calorie that I'm trying to find middle ground for my eating and my husband's. It's too hard to keep everything seperate so I do gluten free and it's killing my diet. Saw a Dr. Oz show the other day and he said that this is the new diet craze and people think they are… Continue

Wedding Song Writer's Continued Weight Journey And Celiac Disease

Well, since my last post I'm holding steady at 121 pounds. My husband was just diagnosed with celiac disease. Boy, has our eating and life style changed. Celiac disease is being allergic to gluten, not just wheat but all products like it. It is much easier if I go gluten free with him or I would have to make two different foods of everything that has gluten in it, wheat, barley, rye and so on. When… Continue

Wedding Song Writer's Weight Journey And Celiac Disease

Well, it's been a bad week. My husband came home from being out of the country and brought me chocolates. BAD NEWS! Of course I ate them plus everything else. It's been down hill ever since. I have gained back 5 lbs. in 7 days. What does that tell you, too many calories! When I start that down hill battle, I keep eating and eating and it makes me sick that I can't control myself. I ate the chocolates, had ice cream 4 times, ate many bowls of cereal, pizza and whatever else you can think of. Why… Continue

Wedding Song Writer's Weight Journey

Well, I stopped my 7 days cleansing diet in 5 days due to things I had to attend and it was hard to stick to the diet where I was. I'm back to my regular eating and my weight has been holding steady at 122 lbs. This is a typical food diary of what I eat everyday.

Breakfast: Steel oats, oatmeal w/cinnamon, half banana and a little milk or two kinds Fiber 1 cereal mixed together with a half banana.

Lunch: Low salt/low fat turkey or ham sandwich on wheat bread or lettuce roll-ups… Continue

Wedding Song Writer's Weight Journey

Hopefully all you brides out there can use this for a kick start to your diet and fitness plan.

Well, it's been a few days since I started this weight loss blog. The scale hasen't moved from 122 pounds. I'm following the diet pretty close. The only part that I just can't do is drink 100 oz. of distilled water a day, I drink about 30 oz. of filtered water from my refrigerator. The diet below has been pretty easy to follow but is getting boring. I only have today plus Monday and Tuesday.… Continue

I will weigh between 115-145 on a 5'2" body.

I tried every diet when I see my weight go higher and higher. It seems like once it goes over that 125 pounds I get upset at myseft and then eat more. The story of…

First Dance Wedding Song Two Little Words

After the success of I'll Always Be Your Mother (mother/son song) and I'll Always Be Your Daughter (father/daughter song), I decided to write a first dance wedding song.  I've been married for 35 years so I needed to go back and think what it would be like to be a bride again, it's been a long time.  I don't remember having a first dance song, father daughter song or a mother son song back then, things have changed.  I wrote A First Dance Wedding Song "Two Little Words" with the bride and…

Father daughter wedding song I'll Always Be Your Daughter

My mother son wedding song, I'll Always Be Your Mother came to me so easy, I was writing it for my son.  I'll Always Be Your Daughter was a little harder for me to write since I don't have a daughter.   I tried to imagine what my granddaughter and her father, my son, would want to dance to on her wedding day.  The song originally started out from a daughter's point of view than changed to the father's point of view.  I decided to write it as a duet, a father saying the words to his daughter…

Mother son wedding song, I'll Always Be Your Mother, LYRICS

The lyrics for my song came to me so easy.  I listened to my heart and wrote down how I felt about my son and his wedding day. I didn't want to go back to his days when he was a boy but to focus on his wedding day and his new bride.  The lyrics come my heart and the songs says it all.

Mother son wedding songs, father daughter wedding songs, first dance wedding songs

The article below tells you how my wedding song writing career started.

I’ll Always Be Your Mother is a new mother and son wedding song that I wrote for my son’s wedding in 2006.

When my son told me he was getting married, I knew I wanted to write a song for him and his new bride.  My intention was to give him something special and personal.  As I started to write the mother song song, it became more obvious to me that it would be a…
