Being chosen to be a bridesmaid is an honor and should be treated as so. The bride has chosen to entrust you to become a part of her special day; it is your responsibility to help make it as special as she deserves. Some brides will delegate jobs where others may have their maid (or matron) of honor delegate the jobs. Lastly, some brides may not feel incredibly comfortable asking for help so it is up to the bridal party to step up and offer.
