Long Engagements vs. Shorter Engagements Regarding Wedding Planning

I will be up front about this. I have never been a fan of long engagements solely for the purpose of planning a wedding. In some cases, it is like prolonging agony. Agony as in money spent and time invested. Just like a small budget, a shortened period of time can help keep your focus on what is most important to you and help you sweat genius!

Fall in love with Cyprus

Cyprus is where Aphrodite the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born from the waves. You will experience picturesque villages, swim in the warm blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, wonder at Greek temples, byzantine churches and ancient artifacts thousands of year’s old, dance the night away at one of the lively taverns, visit small wineries and taste world renowned wines or enjoy the Cypriot cuisine at a local tavern overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

Here are just a few resorts to…

DIY Friday: Holiday Table Decor

There are so many great ideas in this picture.

You can even spray paint the pine cones to make them match your color scheme.

Branches of pine needles bring a wonderful smell and tons of color to your table.

Place the pine needles around the vases or make groups of them place colorful pine…

I see these in action all the time, I have a loose circle of my own and it works. Some groups promote themselves and do wedding events in halls. Most importantly it provides common leads to all of the vendors involved. It passes on…

Family Name Gift

A friend of mine recently posted a picture of a established family sign that she received as a gift from a friend. I absolutely loved it and wanted one for my home. I've decided that it is going to be my husbands Christmas present and possibly my friends wedding gifts in the future.

So if you are getting married or have a friend getting married, consider getting one or giving a family sign to them. If you are not sure which one they would like, make them a gift card describing the…

Offer Wedding Lighting With Dj Packages.. Or as a separate Lighting Company?

I currently own a disc jockey business in Orlando, Florida. I recently purchased New LED UPLIGHTING for my clients. I am wondering if this is the way to go about it or do brides shop for lighting from a lighting specialist? The question is.... Is there more money in offering the lighting on a seperate website as opposed to my main site? I need some opinions. An Average wedding with dj and uplighting is about $725. I think maye i could get $500 for dj service and about $400 for lighting. Any… Continue
