As I was recently surfing around the webosphere, I stumbled upon this really fascinating video clip on youtube. While I understand that most of you probably are not interested enough to sit through 10 minutes of discussion about colors, I found the clip to be very illuminating (in more ways than one).
You will certainly learn something new about commercial colors, how they are ‘created’ and what influences their design.

Our Brides here at the cottages always have the best reception and pre-wedding party ideas! Take a few minutes to take a look at some of our most recent brides pre-wedding party photos I have just posted! The bride and groom threw a rehearsal dinner/party at the cottages for their family and friends! This particular bride booked all eleven of our cottages for her wedding party so she was able to set up the wedding gathering she wanted right on our property!

Many fault their metabolism for the lack of progress towards their fitness goals. I hear a lot of “It’s too slow,” or “I have bad genetics.” Knowing how to get your metabolism operating at maximum efficiency is crucial no matter what your fitness goals are and, unbelievably, strength training plays a key role in jump-starting it.
“Metabolism” is defined as the set of chemical reactions that occur in every living organism to maintain life. The rate at which these processes occur…

I have been asked continously about how to handle and prepare tropical flowers before arranging. The BIGGEST AND WORST mistake made by many florists is they tend to place the tropical flowers in the cooler. BIG NO-NO!! Tropical flowers such as: bird of paradise, varieties of gingers, heliconias, anthuriums are NEVER to be placed in the florist coolers. All you need to do is prepare the bucket with the water and food, cut the stems as you would any flower and place in the bucket. Leave them at…

I recently noticed on a friends facebook a comment about the expense she was paying to be a bridesmaid in a wedding.
The bride was obviously wanting a particular dress that cost $495 dollars US ($586.70 AUD). Now I don’t know about most people but $500 + on a dress is not something I would normally consider unless a) The Dress made me look like Angelina Jolie or b) it was the most important day…

As every trainer should, I incorporate flexibility training into every workout. However, I must say that many of my clients simply hate it. Although they all agree that it is important, they are quite happy to skip it and have a rough time doing it on their own. I thought I’d share some of the reasons stretching play an important role in helping you work towards your fitness goals.
Every joint in your body has tendons and ligaments associated with it that facilitate articulation…

With many weddings taking place in the colorful months of September,October and November , ideas abound for themes of Autumn. The theme of nature seems to go hand and hand with fall weddings.Wedding sites on large lakeside properties, lodges, converted barns...you get the idea.Nature can be incorporated anywhere you choose, including your church ,synagogue ,place of worship.
I ask several questions when speaking with my brides to verify the style they want to present. Their wedding is…

I am often asked by potential clients why there is such a huge difference in the quality of a band when the prices are sometimes very similar? My answer is simple. Some band leaders want the job so badly they are willing to tell the client anything they want to hear to get the contract. Some "high priced" bands may not be able to deliver the goods due to the size of the band (too small), the professionalism of the presentation (no tuxedo, questionable gear). Sometimes the sound of the band may…
