If you imagine a Coastal City, the first thought that comes to mind is probably cheesy resort hotels, over commercialization, and an over abundance of tourist. While St. Simons is a tourist destination, most of the inhabitants of the island are actually residents of St. Simons and nearby coastal Georgia. If there’s an over abundance of anything, it’s ancient, live oak trees, draped in Spanish moss.
