PERSONAL VALUES DRIVE COMMITMENT
We all need reminders of why we do what we do. This is one of those reminders:
*Positive Organizational Psychologists, Kouzes and Posner, have coined a phrase called "job crafting," which is where we seek to tie our contribution to our larger sense of purpose. When someone understands how their contribution is tied to their own purpose or values, they seek to expand the boundaries of that role. It allows more meaning to be present in…

OneWed is awarding one couple a pair of hand engraved Platinum
wedding rings from jewelry designer Kirk Kara, worth approximately $5,000!
Why platinum?
Color: Unlike white gold, it’s a naturally white metal so the color will never fade.
Strong yet Gentle: It’s the strongest precious metal, so it will stand up to daily wear and tear. Even better, it’s a pure metal, making it…

Are you looking for the best months to have your destination wedding in Hawaii? Well look no further.
As your Hawaiian based travel agent we here at Travel to Maui know the best times to travel to Hawaii!
The least expensive and less crowded time to travel to Hawaii would be in the "off season" months. That would be late April- early June, and again in September- early November. The other extra benefit of this time…

My couple was as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside. Lindsay and Pat have known each other for years and chose to get married on June 27th. Lindsay was exquisite in her contoured gown and the
Lake View Pavilion in the background made the pictures pop! The staff was amazing and very accommodating, I highly recommend this venue.…

De-Stressing Tips for Brides
There are lots of ways to make your wedding planning easier. Over the years I have watched cool, calm, collected brides breeze through their wedding plans and I've watched other brides meltdown at the table in my shop as wedding plans took their toll. Here are some quick tips to make your life as a bride easier.
1. Don't wait until the last minute. Most professionals will tell you that you need a year, but it can be done in 6 months by a fairly…

We are living in a very diverse world. The last wedding I attended was for a good friend whose celebration was rich with "non-western” cultural traditions. There were different types of music, food, formal wear, dancing, celebrations and of course, alcohols. At one point the whole dance floor joined in a circle and started some dance routine that I had never seen before and had a blast trying to learn.
During the celebration I was approached by a couple older members of the family…

If you'd like to save some money on your wedding
and reception, particularly if you're planning a
small, intimate wedding, consider having your
wedding some time other than a Saturday. An
evening wedding mid-week or even a Saturday
morning brunch instead of an evening reception
can save you hundreds of dollars.

Hi ladies,
It is so crucial for you to take time out for yourself while planning a wedding.
I well remember the stress and anxiety that comes along with planning a wedding. The endless lists, money worries, and personality struggles that come along with it.
Here's my first tip for you:
Take 5 minutes to go to a place where you can be left alone and quiet. It doesn't matter if it is indoors or out as long as no one will bother you during this time.…
