Wedding Planning Ideas! - White, Black & Red Color Theme

As I was surfing around the net I found a question that someone had posed about incorporating another color into their white and black wedding color theme, there are also questions about wearing different colors of wedding gowns rather than the traditional white or off white wedding dresses.

I decided to write an article about wedding planning ideas and incorporating white, black and red as the wedding color theme.…

consider this...

Remember, Brides, if you don't have it, your guests won't miss it! I am speaking in terms of staying in budget, so important given the economy! Favors seem like a good idea, but if I could only tell you how many are left behind as guests depart! Save that money and make a donation to a charity in your guests honor..only you two know how much you donate, if funds are tight, but the thought and gesture remain commendable! Save the Dates are yet another way for the wedding industry to make money off of innocent brides and grooms. The practical purpose behind Save the Dates is for your guests to know ahead of time when your wedding is so they can revolve their entire years’ plans around that date. This concept makes sense for weddings where you have out of town guests because they need hotel information and need to make plans in advance, but other… Continue

Wedding at London Claridges with a vintage theme

Agata & Stefan wanted their day to be a little different with a vintage themed wedding. Agata is originally from Poland and Stefan is Bavarian, they met and fell in love in London and this played a part in the planning of the creative shoot as well as venue choices. As a surprise Agata had the flower Edelweiss flown in from Austria to be included in the buttonholes and bridal bouquet. Agata’s 1920’s inspired designer creation from Jenny Packham set off the vintage theme perfectly. They… Continue

The Power of Printing

Youtube is one of the amazing inventions of this era. For any of you that are not familiar with the power of this device, simply go to www.youtube.com and search for any video, clip, speech or song you want and most likely there will be 10 million results.

I was looking for videos on printing and I came across this one. While it is a funny advertisement, it illustrates an interesting point. The written word is a powerful thing.

I would love to know from those brides - why you won't or haven't hired a wedding planner to help with your wedding.

As a wedding coordinator I always wonder why brides don't hire wedding coordinators/planners. Sometimes I get calls 3 weeks before the wedding from brides asking for help and I wonder why they just didn't hire a wedding coordinator from the start. We keep brides from being canidates for the Bridezilla's show. I would love to hear your comments!
