Alright brides, lets get serious. Unless you are made of steel, you are going to get nervous before your wedding day. It is such a big step to join in a lifelong union, so feeling nervous is part of the process.
According to the experts, a little anxiety is a normal thing as your wedding date gets closer. You will almost certainly feel “wedding jitters” at…

I have been burning the candle at both ends lately trying to keep up with the many hats that we wear around here; it is deep into wedding season you know. As a result, a quickly caught cold waylaid me yesterday and put me down for the count. I felt miserable, didn't want to do anything (if you know anything about me, that is NOT me!), and generally tried to fight it. I gave up around 5 pm and took a nap. Wow! If I had known how good I felt after that nap, I would have done that a lot sooner!…

Planning your wedding is a very exciting time and I’m sure you are anxious to get started! But first things first!!! The financial aspect of the wedding can be an uncomfortable topic for both bride and grooms family.
Make a date with both families prior to the planning process. Open a bottle of wine, and discuss the financial contribution of the bride, groom, and both families. Today many families have decided to split the cost of the celebration, although, each family will be…

Bride Name Change - United States - If elopment is out-of-the country or a destination wedding, then proof of marriage name change should be obtained in the quickest way possible. Although not often possible, arrangement for the same prior to marriage is ideal. In certain cases Apostelles and/or documents other than that country's marriage license, will be required. Likewise, if the bride and groom do not share the same citizenship, and marrying outside the United States, the array of…

So, I'm really interested lately in how the economy is affecting the wedding industry from a number of fronts - most of all of course, I'm interested in knowing how to continually maximize dollar values for my clients. In that vein, and given I guess that June is wedding month almost everywhere in North America, I'm finding plenty of information on how to host a fabulous wedding with less. While I don't believe that there is a grand conspiracy to make weddings as expensive as they can (cuz I've…
