Chris and I are very close to both of our families. Each of us has experienced a painful loss within our immediate families in the past. My father passed away in August of 2005, and Chris sadly lost his
brother unexpectedly a few years before that. We wish they could be
with us to celebrate our special day with us, but since they aren’t
able to, we planned to do something special to honor them at our
wedding.
