Due to the absent of blogs, you can tell that we are crazy busy. During these busy times, my staff and I get a chance to observe first hand what happens at events and weddings. It really does boggle our minds to see how some people act. It is a shame really. Here are some interesting observations that my staff have seen. Can you identitfy with some of these?
1. Baseball caps and cowboy hats are not okay to wear during the ceremony or reception unless okayed by the Bride and Groom. This…

Here's an interesting idea for a guest book: Have one of the Bridesmaids or a trusted family member (maybe even a niece or nephew who is looking to play an important role) take a Polaroid picture of guests as they arrive, paste it to the pages of the guest book and have them sign below their picture. That way, you will have a photo book of everyone from the wedding!

their own company.
The wedding garter toss became a game of sorts. The bridal party would…

A wedding theme is a great way to set the tone for your wedding. It also is a great way to make the wedding planning experience more efficient. If you have a focus when going vendor and venue shopping it will make finding the perfect product, place, or professional a much easier process.
Don’t be afraid to really go for it. Show your guests your true personalities. It will make it much more fun for all who attend; it will make it much more memorable too. Remember most weddings have…

As if planning a wedding weren't enough, it seems that all of your friends are getting married at the same time! "Wedding Season" is in full swing and paths can cross no matter when your big day falls on the calendar.
Fitting a Saturday wedding in here or there before your own isn't really a big deal, but what if you're asked to be more than a guest? Is it crazy to be a bridesmaid just before or after you're a bride? No. Friendship is all about being flexible, being there for each other,…

Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the lovely Ashley Cook, Founder and Creative Director of La Bella Vita Designs at an industry meeting. She and I chatted about her new business and her plans to introduce her product line to the world soon.
I was excited by her description of what was to come, but I had no idea just how wonderful it was, until I was able to behold with my own eyes!
