A flash should always be used ETTL mode when on the camera. The shutter speed and ISO will control your natural light and you aperture will control your flash power, this is for off camera flash. When using the flash mounted on your camera, leave it to ETTL and shoot away. You need to insure that your lightmeter is balance between -1/3 to 1/3 of a…

Don’t forget your Wedding Day Emergency Kit. You want to be prepared. So, much like McGuyver, you just need a few basics to get through any last-minute crisis! Aspirin, Band Aids, bottled water, breath mints (a must), chalk or corn starch to cover last-minute stains on your gown, clear nail polish in case of stocking runs, extra pantyhose, eye drops, quick dry glue, tissues, talcum powder, safety pins, straws for sipping liquid so lipstick doesn’t smear, mini sewing kit, cotton swabs,…

I arrive at each event in a full-size Chevy van chock-full with speakers, mixers, CD players, microphones, cables and cords, and various accessories. I have extras of everything with me on-hand -- not back in my…
