If you are a Bride-To-Be, when is your wedding date?

A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I'm an Irish bride-to-be currently revelling in planning my wedding. Event planning and co-ordination is an important part of my job in the ‘real world’ but corporate events are nowhere near as challenging or exciting as preparing for such a special and personal day. My blog is simply a way for me to collect and organise my ideas and things that inspire me. It also means I don’t have to bore Mr Mc, my family or friends with constant wedding chatter. When we first started planning our wedding, I found it difficult to find websites that were relevant to an Irish couple looking to have a wedding that was relaxed and fun, didn’t cost the earth and had some personality and uniqueness about it.We don’t want our wedding to be magazine perfect- that just wouldn’t be me or Mr Mc. We want our wedding to be a reflection of who we are and the people, places and things that have moulded us and our lives together. Most of all we want our wedding to be a celebration and a happy day with and for all the people we love.Hopefully, a by-product of my ramblings on here will be of use to others planning original, achievable and relatively inexpensive weddings. Please drop by again and leave some comments and let me know what you think of the site and if you’ve any suggestions as to how it can be improved.
Do you have a wedding website, blog, or registry link?
