A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I am a wedding officiant based in Coralville, Iowa and was ordained on March 7, 2023. If you're reading this, you might be interested in tying the knot. Weddings can be expensive these days so let me put your mind at ease without breaking your budget. My pricing varies based on location, county clerk documentation requirements, and your desired ceremony needs but as someone who knows how it is to stretch a penny, have no fear, you won’t be disappointed! I am willing to travel within 100 miles in each direction of the Coralville/Iowa City area but will travel farther for an extra fee.
You’re probably wondering where the name “Chapelism” came from. As dog and cat moms my family considers our pets our kids, and we are part of a fantasy group on Facebook in which the dogs and cats date, get married, etc. our oldest pug, Barney, was married in 2020 a few months before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge and one of the songs my sister sang to him was “I’m going to chapel and I’m gonna get married.” Eventually it turned into “I’m going to the chapelism.” Hence, this name was born! That being said, 30% of all wedding bookings will be donated and split between three animal rescue groups who dedicate their time and efforts to saving lives and being a voice to the voiceless.
