The Bearsville Theater sits on 16 gorgeous acres in Historic Woodstock, the Catskill mountain town, where the music revolution of the 1960’s began. With 6 different locations available across our campus, we offer complete versatility for creating a stunning and unforgettable wedding. Our Theater Lounge is the perfect setting for a more intimate reception, wedding rehearsal or private party. This includes a full bar, small stage with a high tech PA system, and access to a private deck. Accommodates up to 120 people. Our 40’ x 15’ Theater Deck adjoins the Lounge and is the perfect space for friendly informal gatherings of 30 people (seated) or up to 50 (standing). Situated on the banks of the magical Sawkill Creek, Bearsville Park is fully equipped with comfortable seating, an outdoor stage, a romantic arbor, modern sculptures and a woodland walk awash with history and stories about Woodstock’s iconic musical heritage. It has its own outdoor bar and space for multiple wedding tents of giant (or smaller!) proportions, making it an ideal setting for both your wedding and a cocktail party. Each of the 12 personal-seating areas with bluestone patios and luxury couches has its own private set of speakers to provide top quality acoustics. Accommodates up to 800 people. Bearsville Theater - newly restored 18th Century “Dutch Barn” is a state-of-the art venue and theater space for weddings, concerts and productions. Can accommodate 150 dinner seating and 350 for concert seating. Bear Cafe, next door to the Bearsville Theater, is the perfect venue for your rehearsal dinner, wedding breakfast, an intimate dinner for two, or a family gathering prior to, or after, the big day. All or part of our 66-seat restaurant — and an additional 40 seats on the exterior Creekside patio may be reserved. Large windows overlooking the Sawkill Creek provide lovely views of the stream and our adjoining dining area completes the restaurant’s cozy ambience. Chef Josh Rajala creates delicious and indulgent cuisine that is seasonal, sustainable and locally-sourced.
Utopia - Perfect place for the after party! Utopia can be configured with a live stage for a band or DJ. Accommodates up to 200 guests.
