With over twenty years experience--Derek Allen has a well-rounded career--
From a college radio show that hit the airwaves in 1992-99 called The RoachMotel Mix Show to opening and performing with such acts as Kardinal Offishall, Foxy Brown, Ice-T, Souls of Mischief, Bedouin Soundclash, Genuine, (Beastie Boys DJ) MixMaster Mike and DJ Swamp to name a few. Derek has also competed and placed in numerous local DJ competitions all over Canada, in such cities as Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto.
A popular midday radio host, you can listen to Derek Allen weekdays 9:30-3:00 pm at 925 FRESH FM. (http://www.925freshfm.com/) When not DJing weddings and private functions, he showcases his skills in clubs and concerts around Edmonton.
