A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I am the author of The Daughter-in-Law Rules, a top selling product on Amazon and in all the major bookstores. My vision is to inspire more harmony among 20 million mothers and daughters-in-law around the world by teaching all brides the art of making friends with their husband’s mother.

As a marketing coach and international media specialist, I am looking for a partnership with wedding planners and wedding gift distributors. The DIL Rules is an important gift for two reasons. One, it raises money for The National Breast Cancer Foundation, and two, it saves a lot of marriages.

Formatted in an adorable 4x6 trim size (the perfect pocket gift!) and chock full of attractive line illustrations, The Daughter-in-Law Rules is a truly positive and upbeat perspective on an oftentimes challenging relationship. The DIL Rules has been received so far, by Halle Berry, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Tori Spelling, Angelina Jolie, Ellen DeGenenres, and Jennifer Garner via the BabySwags gifting organization.

This book is based on one of the great spiritual laws of success. Be a loving, kind, generous, openhearted, sensitive person and the world will reflect that back to you—even in the form of your mother-in-law—and she may just surprise you and turn out to be an ally and a friend!

Introduction to The Daughter-in-Law Rules!

A long time ago in China, a girl named Li-Li got married & went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. Their personalities were very different, and Li-Li was angered by many of her constant criticisms. Finally, Li-Li could not stand her mother-in-law's dictatorship any longer, so she went to see an herbalist and asked if he would give her
some poison.

Mr. Huang said, "Li-Li, every other day prepare some delicious meal and sprinkle some on her plate. And when she is dying, be careful to obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen.” In a few months’ time, the mother-in-law's attitude towards Li-Li changed drastically, and they were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter. And Li-Li's husband was very happy to see the two most important women in his life finally getting along.

One day, Li-Li went to see the herbalist. “Dear Mr. Huang, please provide an antidote to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law, as she's changed into such a nice woman, and I love her as if she were my very own mother.” Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. "Li-Li, you have nothing to worry about, as the herbs I provided were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude, but that has been all washed away by all the love and respect which you gave her.”

    Hi Sally,
thank you so much for the compliment. That really means a lot! I've been meaning to write you back weeks ago, but I've been sort of busy. I've been asking some big designers to check out my work and hopefully they will do more than keep me in mind. Neiman Marcus and Colin Cowie! A good friend of mine, Cynthia Thomas, (Serenity In Design, Interior Design Inspiration Magazine), is prompting me to do it. Cross your fingers for me? I've been revising my site so that it's really up to par. I actually have a few new items that I added to the site. I'm working with an invitation company in San Diego and I added the samples that I've recently sent out to her to my Gorgeous II page, and the Father Christmas (2 pics).
I love jazz music! I usually listen to it on the computer while I'm working. This area doesn't have any good jazz stations. I miss the station in Rochester, (NY) that I used to listen to. I'll bet if you asked to go back on the show (FOX) and be able to play piano for them I'm sure they would say yes. I don't watch ANYTHING but FOX for the news. I love the story on your page about the medicine and the mother in law. My mother just happens to be going through the same situation with my brother's new wife. They are living together now and until my parents house is built which should be completed by the end of the year. It's a nightmare. Daily.
I get a kick out of the comments I read here sometimes.....I'm not just about me, I'm out here to become actual friends with people with no strings attached. How could you recommend someone you really don't know?.....Too bad there's no virtual coffee to share. Eh. I come from a big Italian family. Even if you lock your door your friends have keys, go in, and put the coffee on for you so it's fresh when you come home, then by the end of the night there's at least 10-20 people around the kitchen table.
Well, I hope you have a nice weekend. I've got so much to do I'm not sure where to begin. Talk to you later. floralcompliments@yahoo.com or gmail.com floralcompliments.net Michele Eddins :]
