Hey ladies & gents.... I have not had any luck at bridal shows with getting new clients - My feelings are that because I'm in a niche market, many people don't go to these shows LOOKING for planners (if they did, they would've probably already contacted me).... So I have a question -for those of you who work these shows and get meetings set up (i'm not expecting a booking AT the show) with potential clients - how have you done it -
What is it that gets brides/grooms attention? I am not a salesman, so a very aggressive approach is not good for me. Other ideas on getting them to take time to talk??

I am planning on having a wedding planning workshop in March. Any idea of what you think should be definately included would be very helpful. Thanks!

Dear Friends,

some guidelines to have a wedding in Italy. This costs are just as example and can change venue by venue.

Consider a wedding menù price is from 70 € so if you have 100 guests the total price will be 7.000 € only for the food.
In average a good photographer cost from 1.100 € for 8/10 hourse services and DVD with photos
Flowers cost from 450/500 € for a bouquets, two bridsmaid bouquet, bottonholes, three church composition and centerpieces.
Music start from 150/200 € for church only a violin and if you want a live band the cost start from 1.200 €
Then usually the couple organize a BBQ or a Pizza party the day before and the cost start from 17/18 € per person
Then hairdresser in italy start from 160 € for all services including trial and the day of the wedding
Then there is the curch usually is at offer
Then there is an englis speaking priest at offer
Then there is an organization fee.
