Has any used any of the services where you pay for leads? if so, is it worth it? I see Decidio, eventective, and a few others and was wondering if they are of any value to planners?
I used one.. toronto brides or something like that! It did not pay off at all. If everyone pays the $1.00 - 2.50 to get the lead than you are competing against hundreds. I didn't find it that cost effective at all!
In the 20 year experiences of our regional and state wedding companies, not related to our national products at www.namechangemadeeasy.com (bride name change software), we can say that our experiences have shown many of these groups leads to be either old or not actually requested by the bride and groom. At $2.50 a lead or more, in our opinion, it is not worth the risk. We have had a recent experience with one group already mentioned that has not altered our experiential beliefs. In checking these two leads out with the actual wedding locations themselves, they were falsely generated. info@thenamechangekit.com
I have done some of the pay for leads sites, but never got anything from it. The clients just never got back. I belong to the Perfect Wedding Guide e-mail lead program and that is good. It qualifies the brides and lets you see what they actually need so you are not wasting time. Perfect Wedding Guide services different areas. I advertise with the Phila area.
I get so many solicitations to join these lead sites and everyone gives you the same story .... that their site is visited more etc.
I'm part of "Ourweddingday.com". There is a monthly or yearly fee... depending which plan you sign up for. You don't pay for each lead. You can get as many leads in which ever state you want. I have sent out emails to many leads and have had them look at my website from it but have only gotten 1 order out of it. I'm hoping it will turn around.
