I'm sure I'm answering you too late on how to get your peonies to open, but if not here's some help. You can do bucket rotations every couple of hours (i.e. recut the stems and change the storage solution to make sure it's warm). Don't put them into the cooler and put a garbage bag over the top of the bucket. Tie the bag on so that it creates a greenhouse effect. But this will only work if the buds have cracked and they are showing colour.
If they are already starting, you can do the above and then manually open them by hand as well. Just be careful. If you're too rough the heads will shatter.
We are happy to announce the addition of our centerpiece rental section. As we all know, weddings can be costly and usually, by the time a bride is ready to look into centerpieces, her budget is nearing the end. She is usually faced with the dilemma of how to have centerpieces that will compliment the rest of her carefully planned wedding without having to settle for less and still keep within her budget.
Now you can have centerpieces that normally cost hundreds of dollars for a fraction of the cost by renting them from Illuminating Centerpieces. Feel free to browse through our pictures for just a FEW ideas and/or contact us for more information.

My friends and I are having a fundraiser for our Avon Walk For Breast Cancer at Alex's Bar in Long Beach on Sunday, June 28th. Of course if you leave close you are all invited, but we are also looking for raffle donations worth around $10.00, more if it's convenient. We have a couple of gift cards, but we're looking for a few more to make the raffle look really exciting! Maybe you know someone who has something extraordinary they wouldn't mind donating!!! We will accept anything and your help would be truly appreciated. Each personal or company name will prominently be displayed for advertising and appreciation purposes. There will be a lot of brides and fellow event planners in attendance. If you're a photographer, maybe a gift certificate for a free sitting, maybe a free centerpiece from a florist. The ideas are endless. Make sure to include plenty of business cards with your donation, no matter how big or small. It should be a great time, lots of music and mingling and we'd love to see you all there!!!
Lots of Love and thanks for your help,
~Nikki~
