Ok now I'm understanding so in essence it is true that pages do not get actual tally counts from other pages. Only personal pages accrue the visible counts to viewers on the page, BUT pages who like pages are still counted just not easily visible -- You have to find it and it is logged on the metric system I think I understand now. :)  If I don't please clarify further, I'll get it soon enough. --

So if you want to have the physical numbers for all to see, you still need to "like" pages from your personal facebook accounts Right?

YES. It counts in a real way. Not a number on a page way. Google Facebook page metric.

And don't get mt wrong, I don't mind liking you from my personal account, but I will definitely like you from my biz page.

I guess i don't get what all the fuss is about on BT for having a high number of likes, besides hitting the 25 milestone.  The point of facebook is engaging each other and it looks like they have rolled out a new metric for engagement today called "are talking about this."  There is also a metric to see the number of businesses that like you as well.

It's more valuable IMO to like or connect a business page to another business page to exchange access to walls or news feeds so that potential customers, clients etc can see "news" and perhaps engage fellow BT members.

Just my 2cents.

Someone on Bridal Tweet posted last week that if you like a FB page it has to be with your personal account to raise the "like" number. If it's done with your business page it won't raise the number. Just fyi, I didn't know it until I read it here :)
