Get Married.com has a great website with awesome SEO capabilities, and very inexpensive. We have a multi platform system that drives traffic from our show (M-F) to your our website, and then to vendors sites. Hope this was helpful.
I agree...SEO is the way to go. A properly optimized site makes all of the difference. Make sure your shopping cart is SEO friendly to start. Also, we use social media such as twitter, digg, etc. Videos and free downloads are also great ways to get traffic to your site.
I have a store set up on etsy.com and on gogreenetc.com. I have also found it helpful supporting and doing charity work for a worthy cause I feel passionate about. I donate my items to the American Liver Foundation here in Northern California. They use them in their silent auctions to help raise funds for more research. When you supprot a cause or do any sort of charity work, people really stop and pay attention. Some businesses feel like they are just bragging about themselves when they mention the charity work they are involved in, but really that is not true. By letting customers know what you are passionate about you not only show the responsible/giving back to the community side of your business, you also help bring more much needed awareness to the cause(s) that you support. The just creates a win-win situation for everyone.
I have a love hate relationship with Craigslist. I get alot of my ads flagged (not sure why) but probably 85% of my biz comes from there. I also use backpage and supershopper. If any body has any other sources please let me know !

Craigslist has been wonderful for us and we also put out an ad in Yellowbook that was super inexpensive. We're in their book, on the website and they even created a small commercial for us. It's all under $50/monthly!
