Here's some ideas to create fun and usable items for your wedding.
1) put your wedding website on your placecards
2) refrigerator magnets or small calendar for your save the date announcement
3) follow up by e-mail, saves time making phone calls
4) get your hubby to be in on the act, you would be surprised they LIKE to help
not with fluff but something concrete, i.e. airport arrangements, etc. Give him some assignments, besides it's good training. lol
5) add some "male" favors i.e. golf tees, key chains, something they can use
6) make the mothers in the wedding party feel special buy sending a luxury gift bag to their hotel room from the bride and groom. P.S. it does not have to be expensive, maybe teas and a beautiful cup, or some hand lotion, fabric spray, etc.
