Good comment. Of the 13 members of this group, not one appears to be a bride. Still, never mind, let's hope the brides are browsing and making plans for their Australian wedding and can find all the resources they need here.
My name is Pam and I am Civil Celebrant - so alongside marriages I also design and perform vow renewals, namings, funerals, memorial, age and life milestones, community, family and cultural ceremonies. Melbourne based, so most of my marriage ceremonies are Southern - CBD,Melbourne, Yarra Valley, and Eastern. I also travel, so 40 mins by plane has me in Tasmania, and in 2 hours I am up Queensland way. Most of the Queensland Island or resort marriages are International requests. I am sometimes asked for combination ceremonies particularly for mature age or blended families, adoption, namings for older children and puberty. I enjoy creating totally original rituals for couples. These often come from age old rituals but are given a modern or Australian relevance. I am fortunate in that I have a full production radio/TV studio and equipment for sound , so music, and my producer often plays a big part in my ceremonies so clients (and I) can fully focus on what I do best - the ceremony. If you remove the soundtrack from a movie - it's just not the same, and if you change the sound you can change the whole atmosphere. My aim is that , even the bare bones, 1 minute and 58 secs legal intimate ceremony, the ceremony is the most important, moving, and memorable experience that not only my clients but also their guests have in their lives.
