Hello from the US- I have a question

Last year and early this year, I ended up shipping a surprising number printed magnet orders to Australia.  Naturally, heavy magnets cost a decent chunk in shipping!  And also, it took a long time for many of the orders to get there.

So then I decided to partner with an unnamed Australian magnet company.  My design, but then the magnets printed and shipped within Australia.  I set up a separate page with a few examples of pricing/sizes just for Australian customers.  This led to a change that I didn't expect- I don't get nearly as many orders from Australians.  I was wondering what might be behind that?  It is just a fun trend right now to order things in from out of the country?
