Hello Wedding Planners,

I need your help!  I'm preparing a blog post that will be published next month, which will be called: 10 Reasons You Must Consider Hiring a Wedding Planner.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on what those reasons should be.  I'll pick the 10 best reasons.  If I choose your reason, I'll be sure to mention your business name and link to your website.  So, this is a great way for you to get a ton of free exposure for your business.

Here's what I need you to do...

  1. In the discussion thread below, please share one reason why engaged couples should hire a wedding planner.  You may also include a beautiful photo.
  2. Be sure to include your business name as well as a link to your website and/or blog.

Thanks in advance for your help.  I can't wait to hear what you have to say!

Every couple should consider hiring a Wedding Planner to provide guidance and direction ...starting just after announcing their engagement to their family...and ending when the last person leaves their reception. Certified Wedding Planners are educated and trained on every aspect of planning weddings/receptions. They are  good listeners, mediators, advocates...and are patient, understanding and supportive. Planners will work 24-7 when necessary and keep couples on time and within their budgets.

The most important reason I feel everyone should have a wedding planner (even if only for day-of coordination) is that it allows them to relax, enjoy their day, and actually celebrate with their guests.  No matter how organized the couple, how many lists they make, and how proactive they try to be, there will be a few unexpected hiccups on their day. Having a professional there all day to solve these problems takes an incredible strain off of the couple and allows them the peace of mind to be truly present and enjoy the experience of being the bride or groom.  The morning golf game won't be interrupted by a call from the baker saying that the cake was damaged in transit.  The bride can enjoy mimosas with her wedding party while having her hair done and not have to worry that the flowers will arrive the wrong colour. Wedding day stress creates a domino effect: if the bride is stressed out, so is her mother, and then her wedding party, and soon, nobody enjoys the day! Having a coordinator on site to deal with issues and execute the couples' vision removes all of that stress and allows them to be PART of the biggest party they're ever going to throw!

You get what you pay for, unfortunately couples find out something has gone horribly wrong when it's too late. There are no do-overs, selecting your vendors based on service and quality is a must. For example, I bumped into a bride who told me her wedding day horror story. She said, “When we finally made it to the reception hall, we were supposed to have two hot buffets and were given only one. I booked the hall until midnight and was told to leave around 9:00pm!” My advice is to hire a wedding/event planner, even just for consultations and the planner will keep you on the right track.

These are all great.  Thanks again!

A wedding should be a joyful experience, so my ultimate reason to consider a Wedding Planner & a Wedding Coordinator is to have fun throughout the organizational process AND on the wedding day.

A Wedding Planner suggests, guides, solves problems, mediates, saves time and money, involves proven qualified professionals, keeps track of expenses and payments, is you shoulders to cry on when under pressure, or your best friends to share fears and secret emotions. A Wedding Planner is all of this and more, but most of all is your pal in making the organization of the wedding a stress-free, funny, memorable experience.

All my couples made the same comment after their weddings: we had so much fun for more than a year and everything went on smoothly. We truly enjoyed the day as well as the process.

I do not like to scare my couples, even if they have to be aware of potential cons of a wedding, but rather offer them a chance to enjoy a fantastic experience together where they dreams do come true!

Peace of Mind-  Don't stress!
A lot of coordination goes into planning a wedding and it can be overwhelming even for an expert at times.  This is exactly why you need to hire a wedding planning professional.  Not only do they take the stress out of planning, they give you peace of mind that your wedding day will be just as you had imagined.
A wedding is a time to celebrate with family and friends as you begin your new journey as husband and wife.  Enjoy!

Hello Christine,

Good day!

Best thing in dealing with wedding planner is being more confident on the day of your wedding. They're the one who strive harder to make your dream wedding to reality. From the word planner itself, they plan, step by step or in detail how the ceremony goes, what are the smallest things and biggest things needed in the said wedding. What are the do's and don'ts and a lot more. Having a planner like Miami Wedding Planners is such a stress free environment for a couple. They're the one who will shoulder the stress for your wedding and have it the most unforgettable moment of your life. :)
