I am currently building a vendor database on The Green Bride Guide exclusively dedicated to green wedding vendors. I am trying to figure out where and how to advertise it once it is up and was wondering which sites you currently use to get information about your services out to potential clients. The Knot, Facebook, WeddingWire?

Twitter is a great place to get the word out about your vendor section :)
Again, I might be a little biased :)...but check out GetMarried.com. I also highly recommend Twitter. I could see this site being very helpful to brides to provide tips, ideas, etc about having a green wedding. Facebook is great too, but think that the twitter community is pretty tight knit group.
We use facebook and twitter (tweetdeck is a really great tool to manage twitter). We also have listings on wedding wire, but have never received any leads from it.

The knot is expensive and I've never heard any invitation vendors indicate that it's successful.

I would also recommend building the SEO on your website. We've invested a lot of time on this, and are receiving a great deal of leads from organic searches.
Hi Kate,
I would recommend twitter & bridal tweet as 2 great places. Tweetdeck is also a great way to manage things. I also agree with Ajalon, you must begin to get into (SEO) Search Engine Optimization. There are many free podcast shows on iTunes on SEO to learn about this and how to apply it. One fantatistic resource is the podcast show by Jay Berkowitz entitled THE 10 GOLDEN RULES on itunes. He is one of the gurus in SEO. You will learn a lot from him.
Thanks!
I use all of what the ladies have mentioned below, but also LinkedIn. Linked in has a wide variety of people that are in the wedding industry, and have many groups.
