What did you really think of Kate's wedding dress?

Is it just me expecting the WOW factor? There was so much hype over the wedding dress and designer I thought my jaw would drop when I saw her but it didn't. She did look beautiful and as much as I loved the wedding dress, I did not say "WOW" as she exited the car. I did say WOW when I say Pippa though!

What do you guys think?

I did like the 'Grace Kelly' style of the dress but as others have said, it didn't quite have the "wow" factor that I was expecting.

I have to say that I did loved her dress, I 've always liked Grace Kelly's wedding gown. So to see her in a more modern , sexy version of the dress was amazing. Thank God she was inspired by Grace Kelly's dress and not Princess Diana ... umm it was the 80's after all.

I loved everything about it with the exception of the Madonna looking breast. That's all I could think about when I saw her walking down the aisle.

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that, it was a nice enough dress but it did not take my breath away. Like many others I simply loved Pippa's dress, it was classy, simple and elegant, a triple threat!

I wouldn't choose a dress like that, but I understand that there were modesty restrictions on where she was getting married, and of course royal expectations. Still, I thought her dress should be for a much older woman and it didn't do her beauty justice.

I thought for having to wear sleeves, which is not a very trendy bridal option, she pulled it off wonderfully. The dress was beautiful. The lace still gave her the look of a strapless gown but gave her the necessary coverage. Box pleats are not a very popular for bridal gowns either, but they worked well on her. I don't see any new trends emerging from her gown, but I loved what she wore.
