Wedding Planner or Self Plan that is the question?

From meeting with all the New Olreans wedding planners I see the necessity for their services. They are there for you to make things easier for you. But I was thinking do most people try to self plan their weddings? I know before I got started in the wedding industry I thought it was a luxury but now I feel they are a necessity. What are your thoughts?

I used to think of it as a luxery as well! Now I think of it as a money saver. If you want to make the most of your budget wouldn't you want to have someone who can do that for you? The best part about planners is they do the work saving money for you. So you don't spend the last year before your wedding frazzled!
