I would look at Colleges in the area and see if they will rent to you when school is not in session
Are you looking for an outdoor wedding venue or just a reception venue? What are your specific qualifications in looking for your venue - are you going to have a formal wedding or informal?
Just some ideas you can check out. Look for banquet halls that you can rent - check out your local churches, colleges, fire companies, country clubs even your local visitor center.
