I constantly get emails from BridalTweet's vendors asking for recommendations on who they should use for their website design. If you have had an awesome experience with a web designer, please mention their contact info below. This will really help the other members of our community. If you have not had an awesome experience, please do not mention your web designer below because we want to reserve this discussion for the absolute crem della crem:) Thanks in advance for your help. - Christine Dyer

I used http://www.sssmedia.co.uk/ for my website - you can see it here at www.helencarterweddings.co.uk

Simon is great - I gave him a brief spec of the type of thing I wanted, and he created something that far exceeded my expectations. One of the best things about it is that it's created with Wordpress, meaning you can change the content yourself at any time. It wasn't cheap, but I've had so many positive comments that I think it's paying for itself.

I used KHS IT Solutions. www.khsitsolutions.com
They were patient, creative, and really helpful!
Check out their work on my site, www.cinderellabridez.com
We used Clay Productions. Josh did an absolutely wonderful job, and continues to help us with updates as needed.

Hi to everyone,

I'm the owner of MSW Interactive Designs and the "Where Brides Go" network of wedding planning portals. We have worked with hundreds of wedding professionals over the past ten years. We offer website design, website hosting, and Search Engine Optimization. Our design rate is $165 per page (no hidden fees) and all of our websites are custom design. If you host your site with us and you are a wedding professional, we will put a home page ad on the wedding portal of your choice. My best potential clients are vendors who don't have a site, don't like the results their current site is getting, or can't find their site in the search engines.

We have over 500 clients nationwide.

Here is a like to our testimonial page - http://www.mswinteractivedesigns.com/testimonials.asp.

Here is a link to one of our typical wedding portals - http://www.springsweddings.com. This is for Colorado Springs market.

Give me a call (800-853-0532) or reply to this if interested in talking about your website.
Regardless of the talent of a web designer, if they do not know the wedding industry they are automatically more expensive because it will take more of your valuable time to teach them the industry and hope they can talk the language that speaks to your bride.

My web designer who did my wife's web site http://www.yourpartyexpert.com and many other wedding web sites understands the industry. Instead of a web designer picking your brain, she will read your mind. In addition the site will be build to be optimized for local searches in your geographic area

I just used the www.greeninternetgroup.com The owner is a former wedding photographer. Left the business after a family tragedy, but started an web design group that allows uses of open source software for modifications, (very easy to use) takes advantage of new social networking to link it in with the website and understands the needs of photographers. Contact Dan.
Because we are an online wedding boutique (specialzing in DIY, handcrafted & vintage items) we chose a Web designer with a strong ecommerce portfolio who has worked with many DIY folks, artists, women small biz owners, etc. She and her husband work together in Seattle but have a network of artists that specialize in logos, illustrations, etc. as well as some pros in product photography, marketing, etc. Arianne's site is www.aeolidia.com. Their artist Leslie Saito created our lovely logo. She has built sites from scratch as well as updated them.

For what we needed, they were the perfect people with the vision & skills to bring the site to reality. We are SO thrilled with the response and get many compliments on the site. I didn't want to blend in online because we take great strides to differentiate our items and the shopping experience. The site is just what we wanted!

I highly recommend them if what you're looking for meshes with what's in their portfolio. Just 5 months after our launch, we placed in the Top 10 Most Glamorous on StartUp Nation's Home-Based 100. Much of this was Aeolidia's wonderful handiwork! If you have any questions about working with them, I will happily chat with you candidly.

Best of luck on your search! It's worth the time, effort, and money to find someone with you whom you connect. (I also purposefully did not choose someone I knew as I feared I might compromise my vision by being too nice!)

I use SiteCube and I love them. I can change my design with the touch of a button and have a fresh look. I love their pricing and I love their email setup. They have different packages you can choose from. I do my own sites and I was also with Homestead. They are good but have not advance to the flash sites like SiteCube has.

Lana Tull,
It seems to me that the whole purpose of the website is to generate sales and revenue. In that case, you need a certain amount of traffic to turn browsers into customers. No matter how pretty your website looks, if it doesn't get any traffic, it's not working.

I made my own website through Site Build It. They can also build one for you. I average 400-500 visitors a day and 26,000 page views a month.
I would definitely recommend jan from www.jancantor.com ,hes very patient and awesome at giving you exactly what you want.
