I am covering a wedding this weekend where the bride is 8 months pregnant! I'm looking for advice on posing pregnant brides - all help gratefully received... ;-)
Wow! That's pretty preggo! What I'm thinking is that any typical pose for a bride to look slimmer will not work in this case but in photographs where baby is not the center of attention, maybe do the bride walking away and looking back over her shoulder, ones with a flower girl in front of her... but those are for ones to try make the bride the center of attention. This woman should really have photos that draw attention to the NEW star as well. Take photos with the groom standing beside/behind her with both of their hands on her belly- rings on top. A close-up of the belly and hands would be sweet too I think.
Hey! I'm really interested to see how the wedding went! I'd love to see the photos and how you approached them. I'm in the process of booking an engagement session for a couple that is 7 months and she's pretty big too. I'd love to get an idea of the poses you used and how I can make the engagement session less maternity.
I was at a wedding last week - pregnant bride - 5 months. The photographer posed her standing with a slight side view, with wedding party around her and the young groomsman and flowergirl standing in front of her. It was a beautiful wedding and pictures came out beautiful! Hope this helps.
