Hello All,
I am a Wedding planner/Coordinator here in Sunny Southern California and I want to expand my business by forming alliances with other similar vendors and also venues.
My question is with venues: I want to approach them with the intent of having them refer me or even sell/suggest my services as apart of their packages. Since most coordinators for venues primary concern is the venue I wanted to pitch it as a service that would compliment theirs. My problem is how do I approach them with this and have success. I've never done this before but it was recently suggested and I think it would be a great way to increase business since most brides here in So. CA's first thought isn't "Hey let me hire a wedding planner" but "I need to find a great venue/location".
Any input, suggestions, experiences are totally welcomed.

I am Angie with all~n~1., i am also an event planner., i have in the past visit Venues and introduce my business to them along with my services that I offer., not only do i planning but i also bring other service., How ever they do take my information package that i provided with all my credentials., and i get nothing., do they tell me that there is site coordinator.,I do tell them i offer other services such as specialty linens, candy buffet., ect..but all i do get is okay thank you i will keeps this and if a bride is interested i will provided them with your info. if anyone provides any suggestion please included me in that as well.
