Makeup for the special day

My marriage is in next month and, I'm a little bit nervous. We have only 1 month left! We just started our "clean" eating diet and are both continuing our workout routines. I'm getting chemical peel treatment from Toronto next week, and other facials exactly 1 week prior. I'm thinking of doing my makeup because I want very minimal makeup done in a certain way. Has anyone done their makeup for their special days? How did it turn out? And I would love to see the photos!
