After the first initial email, there should be a phone conversation to set-up an in person consulation - there you could bring the contract
I would say hold off on offering any vital information because there are those brides out there who are just shopping for information before they decide rather they will go the DIY way or hire a coordinator. I also offer the contract to the client during the first meeting letting them know that they can sign the contract but the deposit will be needed within 3 days of signing, or they run the risk of losing the date to another possible client. I have found doing this weed out the brides who are for real, from those who just want to pull free information from the professional. I have been there done that feeling as if I am giving away to many good tips before securing the client and the event.
Good Luck
