How do you feel about engagement photos?

Are these pictures imperative for the success of the wedding? Are they a waste of time?

Engagement photos have a number of purposes - firstly they allo you a good idea of how you and your photographer work together and give you experience and more confidence in front of the camera. Also a lot of people think they don't look good in front of the camera -an engagement session (with me anyway) will reassure you that when you come to your wedding day you will be assured of some beautiful photographs of yourself. if you come away with 25 images which you LOVE after an hour and a half shoot, imagine how many shots you will LOVE after a whole day dedicated to photographing your wedding!

i love shooting engagement photos. it gives me a chance to get to know the couple better without the hustle and bustle of their wedding day. most of my clients use their engagement photos as slideshows, centerpieces, thank you cards, save the date, etc. big thumbs up from me!

I think they're a great opportunity for the couple to get comfortable having their picture taken by the photographer, plus they get some awesome photos to use in their save the dates, invitations, guestbook or just to hang on the wall!

I always recommend engagement sessions for my couples. What a great way to get to know how your photographer works before the big day! Most of us don't have modeling backgrounds so it's great experience to prepare for the portrait portion of your day. The more comfortable you are taking pictures, the more you can relax and just focus on having fun at your wedding!

Wedding Photos are really important for the wedding because those pictures will remember the couples for long time.My suggestion is to all the couples , use the wedding photographers and take pictures.It's not an waste of time.So,Pick the wright photographer and enjoy the wedding moment for long time.If you want more things about wedding,can use the wedding planner iPhone app and gain from it.

As a photographer, I can honestly say that doing an engagement shoot is one of my favorite bookings I get... It is a perfect chance to meet the couple and really get creative and tell their story through an image. I wish I could book more engagement shoots because they really inspire me and make me fall in love with them every time!
